RealVision Technology - United States Patent No. 6,932,472
|
RealVision for Real People You've never seen anything like this!
With just the right light balance transmittance and
critical blend of complementary colors,
a photographer was able to neutralize light in a pair of
sunglasses the way photographers have
done with color correction filters for over
half a century.
The results…
total eye protection, startling true
color and unsurpassed clarity from
bright sunlight to deep shadows.
• RealVision™ technology requires binocular vision to be effective.

How does RealVision™ lens technology work?
All sunglasses on the market, no
matter how expensive, utilize the
subtractive method of light
transmittance (in other words,
blocking out light). Only RealVision’s lens technology
is an additive method of light
transmittance that allows much
more light to the brain, minus the
eye strain.
When the brain merges the images from each eye, what you see with our 100%
UVA & UVB protected sunglasses is the same as when you take them off, minus
the sun’s harsh glare, washed out colors and loss of detail.

The chart above illustrates the amount of light RealVision lens technology
transmits to the visual cortex compared to conventional sunglasses. RealVision clearly allows much more light to the brain.
One of the great misconceptions is that we see with our eyes, when in fact,
our eyes are nothing more than a pair of highly sophisticated camera lenses. Our eyes combine to transmit a stereoscopic image, via the optic nerve,
to the visual cortex in the brain.

Our lens technology, attention to quality and concern for eye safety, is what make RealVision clearly a better choice.
